Position Overview

Incedo is seeking an AI / Agent Engineer – LaunchDarkly to design, develop, and operationalize AI-powered agents and integrate them into enterprise applications using modern feature management and observability practices. This role will focus on AI agent development and orchestration, LaunchDarkly integration, feature flagging, experimentation, and production monitoring within a wealth management technology environment.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience building AI agents with a strong understanding of enterprise application integration, feature release strategies, telemetry, and production readiness. This individual will collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and platform teams to deliver reliable, observable, and scalable AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Agent Development & Orchestration: Design, develop, and integrate AI agents and agentic workflows into enterprise applications, leveraging appropriate LLMs, agent frameworks, and orchestration patterns.
• LaunchDarkly Integration & Feature Management: Implement LaunchDarkly feature flags, targeting rules, and controlled rollouts to manage AI agent capabilities, functionality, and application releases across environments.
• Experimentation & A/B Testing: Enable experimentation, controlled feature releases, and A/B testing to evaluate AI agent performance, user experience, and business outcomes.
• Telemetry & Observability: Implement and maintain logging, tracing, metrics, and monitoring to track AI agent behavior, application performance, reliability, latency, and errors.
• Enterprise Integration: Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, and backend services while adhering to established security, scalability, and architectural standards.
• Production Readiness & Optimization: Support deployment, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of AI-powered applications in production environments.
• Technical Documentation: Develop architecture diagrams, integration specifications, implementation guides, operational documentation, and technical design deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, solution architects, DevOps/platform teams, and product stakeholders to align implementation with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
• Governance & Best Practices: Apply engineering standards for secure AI implementation, configuration management, release governance, monitoring, and operational support.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing, integrating, or deploying AI agents, LLM-powered applications, or agentic workflows.
• Practical experience with LaunchDarkly, including feature flags, targeting, progressive rollouts, or feature management integrations.
• Strong software engineering skills in a modern programming language such as Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs, microservices, or other distributed application patterns.
• Familiarity with observability concepts, including application logging, distributed tracing, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• Understanding of experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, feature evaluation, and controlled release strategies.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-step agent workflows.
• Experience with observability platforms and standards such as OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments, containers, and automated testing.
• Experience implementing AI solutions in regulated industries, particularly wealth management, banking, or financial services.
• Understanding of enterprise security, data privacy, AI governance, and production controls.
