Member of Technical Staff (Full-Stack, Python + React)

About the role
You'd be joining the team building the Nirmaan Stack — the proprietary software platform that turns MEP (Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing) contracting from a relationship business into a scalable one.
Nirmaan is India's first tech-enabled MEP contractor. Our software runs every stage of a project's lifecycle — from the sales call to final handover — across 70+ live sites and 20+ cities. The reason one team can run 70 live projects at once is that the Stack holds what a traditional contractor keeps in the owner's head.
You'll own full-stack features end-to-end — Python backend, React frontend, real-time event systems, and the infrastructure that keeps it all fast. You'll make architectural decisions, optimize across the stack, and ship high-quality software that goes directly into live client projects.

What you'll do
• Architect, build, and maintain full-stack features spanning a Python backend and a React frontend
• Design backend services and APIs with clean data models and efficient database access
• Design and operate real-time, event-driven systems — live updates, notifications, collaborative views (Socket.IO + Redis pub/sub)
• Own containerized development and deployment workflows (Docker); contribute to release pipelines and infrastructure management
• Profile, monitor, and optimize application and infrastructure performance — caching, query tuning, scaling
• Translate product and UX requirements into performant, accessible, well-structured interfaces
• Set technical standards; participate in code reviews; help guide architectural decisions
• Debug and troubleshoot across the full stack, from the browser down to the infrastructure layer

Required
• 3+ years of professional software development experience spanning backend and frontend
• Strong Python — building backend services and APIs
• Strong React — hooks, component architecture, state management
• Real-time / event-driven systems — WebSockets / Socket.IO, pub/sub patterns
• Redis — caching, pub/sub, queues, session management
• Docker + containerized development; working understanding of deployment and infrastructure
• PostgreSQL + data modeling fundamentals
• Solid CS fundamentals — data structures, concurrency, API design
• Git + collaborative version-control workflows
• Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related — Tier 1 engineering college preferred

• Frappe Framework (strongly preferred — it's a core part of our stack)
• CI/CD pipeline ownership and release automation
• Cloud infrastructure and observability tooling
• Performance profiling and scaling of production systems
