Role Overview

We are seeking Data Engineers to build scalable data pipelines, semantic retrieval systems, feature stores, and cloud-native data architectures for leading B2C Retail clients.

You will work extensively within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — including BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow — to enable enterprise-grade analytics and AI applications.

This is a hybird role in Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Pipelines

• Build scalable, production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and GCP-native services.
• Develop semantic retrieval, vector search, and feature engineering workflows supporting enterprise AI systems.
• Design and optimize BigQuery data models, partitioning strategies, and performance tuning.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks for high-reliability retail data environments.

Cloud-Native Architecture (GCP)

• Work extensively with:
• BigQuery (data modeling, analytics, feature stores)
• Vertex AI (feature pipelines, embeddings, model integration)
• Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Pub/Sub
• Build CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions for data pipelines and cloud deployments.

AI-Enabled Data Workflows

• Support RAG systems, vector databases, and LLM-powered analytics by building robust data foundations.
• Partner with AI Engineers to integrate structured and unstructured data into GenAI applications.
• Build metadata, lineage, and governance workflows aligned with enterprise standards.

Retail Domain Impact

• Build data solutions supporting merchandising, pricing, inventory, customer analytics, and digital commerce.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data architectures and analytical workflows.

Required Experience

• 4–7 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-native data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, especially BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
• Experience with feature engineering, predictive modeling support, or LLM/GenAI data preparation.
• Experience in Retail, Fashion Retail, or B2C Commerce strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
