Systems Analyst (ID#5559)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Systems Analyst (.NET Developer) to support a mainframe modernization project involving the migration of legacy applications to a modern platform. The successful candidate will contribute to technical design, custom application development, front-end enhancements, RESTful API services, system integration, and data migration activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop system enhancements and functionality updates for modernized applications.
• Contribute to front-end development using modern web technologies integrated with .NET back-end services.
• Implement UI components aligned with UX designs and accessibility standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the UI layer.
• Ensure design consistency between the core solution and associated modules and portals.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API services using .NET technologies.
• Implement secure, performant, and scalable integration patterns.
• Collaborate with team members to redefine and redevelop existing data extraction processes and procedures.
• Support API testing, documentation, and deployment activities across environments.
• Participate in planning and executing data migration activities from legacy or source systems to the target platform.
• Develop and maintain data migration utilities, transformation logic, and validation routines.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and issue resolution in coordination with data and business stakeholders.
• Support migration testing cycles and cutover activities.
• Assist with solution design documentation and testing activities, including test scripts, execution, and remediation.
• Attend regular team stand-ups and development-focused meetings.
• Track task status and completion within project Kanban/Planner boards.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a Systems Analyst.
• Experience with custom application development, system enhancements, and functionality updates.
• Experience with front-end development using modern web technologies integrated with .NET back-end services.
• Experience implementing UI components aligned with UX designs and accessibility standards.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing UI performance.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful API services using .NET technologies.
• Experience implementing secure, performant, and scalable system integration patterns.
• Experience with data migration activities involving legacy systems, data transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience developing or maintaining migration utilities and data validation routines.
• Experience with application testing, including test scripts, execution, and issue remediation.
• Experience preparing or contributing to technical design documentation.
• Experience participating in development team meetings and tracking tasks using Kanban or Planner boards.
