Engineering Delivery Manager (Electronics & Firmware)

A customer-facing manager who owns client projects and delivers them: 2 to 4 concurrent product development projects, 10 to 20 engineers across hardware, firmware and application layers, through Tech Leads. You will not sit in the schematic tool daily, but you must have done the work yourself, in both electronics hardware and firmware, enough to judge a design or an estimate and take a project to closure independently.

What you will do

• Own scope, schedule, quality and handover; track daily; drive milestones to closure.
• Be the client's primary contact (Europe and US): reviews, demos, change requests, escalations; no surprises.
• Unblock engineers: read the schematic, look at the scope trace, take the decision.
• Allocate engineers across projects, plan capacity, give feedback.
• Keep a live risk register and a weekly status the client trusts.

You have

• 8 to 12 years total: at least 4 hands-on engineering years covering board-level hardware AND microcontroller firmware (name the products, boards and MCUs), and at least 3 years owning delivery and managing teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, E&TC or Instrumentation.
• Pune based or willing to relocate.

Nice to have: services/contract engineering, European or US startup clients, IoT/IoMT, ISO 13485, volume production, a European language.

About Pinetics: a founder-led engineering team in Wakad, Pune, designing electronic products end to end for clients in India, Europe and the US: hardware, firmware, IoT and medical devices. On site, five days a week.
