About the job
Executive Assistant to the Co-founder
Recurpay Subscriptions | Full-time | India | 2–5 Years Experience
Are you ridiculously good at organising things (and people)?
Because I think we might just get along really well!
At Recurpay, there's always something happening. Conversations with partners across the globe, team discussions, new ideas, events, travel plans, and a calendar that occasionally seems to have a personality of its own. 😂
I'm one of the Co-founders at Recurpay, and I'm looking for someone who can help me bring a little more structure to my everyday chaos.
Someone who enjoys getting things done, loves keeping track of the little details, and doesn't need to be reminded five times to follow up on something.
Basically, someone who can occasionally say, "Don't worry, I've already taken care of it!"
Those might just become my favourite words.
A Little About Recurpay
We're a bootstrapped SaaS company building subscription management solutions for Shopify brands across the world.
We work closely with merchants, technology partners, agencies, and some really interesting people in the global eCommerce ecosystem.
We're a small team with big ambitions, and we believe in building great products, meaningful relationships, and a workplace where people genuinely enjoy what they do.
So, What Will You Actually Be Doing?
📅 Making sense of my calendar
You'll manage meetings, appointments, reminders, schedules, and time zones. Bonus points if you can spot a calendar conflict before I do!
🤝 Keeping conversations moving
We work with partners, founders, agencies, and teams across different countries. You'll coordinate meetings, introductions, follow-ups, and make sure important conversations don't get lost.
📝 Being the person who remembers everything
Who promised what? What did we decide? What's pending? Who needs a gentle nudge?
You'll document meetings, track action items, maintain follow-up lists, and ensure things actually move forward.
🚀 Helping turn ideas into action
Ideas are never in short supply around here!
You'll help organise priorities, coordinate with our Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing teams, track ongoing initiatives, and ensure important deadlines don't quietly disappear.
🌍 A little bit of everything
From planning business travel and coordinating events to preparing documents, organising information, and handling unexpected little challenges.
No two days will necessarily look the same, and that's part of the fun!
Who Would I Love to Work With?
Someone who:
- Is naturally organised, even when things around them aren't.
- Has 2–5 years of experience in executive assistance, founder support, business coordination, or a similar role.
- Takes ownership rather than waiting for step-by-step instructions.
- Communicates confidently, clearly, and warmly.
- Is comfortable working with international stakeholders and different time zones.
- Knows their way around Google Workspace, spreadsheets, calendars, and Slack.
- Can handle confidential information with maturity and discretion.
- Isn't afraid to ask questions, suggest better ways of working, or occasionally tell me, "We should probably prioritise this first!"
- Has a sense of humour. Seriously, we'll need it! 😂
Experience in a startup or SaaS company would be wonderful, but attitude, curiosity, and ownership matter just as much.
What You Won't Be Doing
❌ Chasing sales targets.
❌ Spending your entire day just scheduling meetings.
❌ Waiting for someone to assign every little task.
❌ Being expected to magically know everything from day one.
What You'll Get Instead ❤️
You'll work directly with me and get a front-row seat to what goes into building and growing a bootstrapped SaaS business.
You'll interact with people from different parts of the world, learn how partnerships and business operations work, collaborate with multiple teams, and have opportunities to grow into a broader Founder's Office or Business Operations role.
There will be busy days, last-minute changes, plenty of learning, and hopefully a lot of laughter along the way.
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your work.
A Tiny Twist to Your Application!
Resumes are great, but I'd love to know a little more about the person behind the resume.
So, along with your CV, I'd love for you to share a 60–90 second introductory video answering three simple questions:
- Tell me something about yourself that isn't on your resume.
- Why do you think we'd make a great working team?
- Imagine you have 10 things on your to-do list, but time for only 5. How would you decide what comes first?
No fancy editing, professional cameras, or perfectly rehearsed answers needed.
A simple phone recording is absolutely fine. And if you're not comfortable recording a video, you're welcome to answer these questions in writing instead.
I'm not looking for the most polished introduction. I'm looking for someone who's thoughtful, resourceful, and genuinely enjoys figuring things out.
One Last Thing!
I'm not looking for someone who can just manage my calendar.
I'm looking for someone who can help me get some of my time back, keep things moving, and become someone I can genuinely depend on.
If you're someone who loves organising, figuring things out, and making things happen, I'd love to hear from you!
Apply through Wellfound with your resume and introductory video (or written responses).
P.S. If you can help me close at least a few of the 37 tabs permanently open in my brain, I think we're going to get along just fine! 😂❤️
