About the job

About the Role

Dynamic Active is seeking an AI Automation & Systems Intern to join our team and fundamentally transform how we operate by architecting our internal AI agent infrastructure. If you are obsessed with low-code/no-code workflows, autonomous AI agents, and system frameworks, this role is built for you.
Instead of writing production software for our end users, your core mission is to act as our internal AI automation lead. You will audit our daily business tasks, map out repetitive founder and team bottlenecks, and introduce autonomous AI agents to speed up our operations across engineering tracking, content pipelines, and administrative management.
You’ll work directly with company leadership to analyze existing business systems, build automated proof-of-concepts, integrate tools via APIs, and deploy active workflows that keep our startup running at peak velocity. This is a rare, hands-on opportunity to build a functional, real-world AI workforce from scratch.
The internship is mentorship-driven and designed around hands-on learning, systems engineering, and massive operational impact.

What You’ll Work On

• AI Workforce Architecture: Research, build, and deploy autonomous AI browser agents and workflow systems (using tools like Skyvern, MultiOn, Zapier, or Make.com).
• Workflow Automation & Chaining: Audit our daily workflows (Slack communications, Notion ticket updates, GitHub tracking) and securely chain LLM capabilities into automated pipelines.
• Hiring Sourcing Pipelines: Help optimize and manage candidate pipelines by pairing platform features with AI triggers to extract and organize inbound developer profiles.
• AI Tool Implementation: Experiment with cutting-edge agent frameworks, prompt sequencing, and token-cost tracking to ensure our internal workflows run highly efficiently without wasting API budget.
• Documentation & Optimization: Standardize process guides for deployed automations, tracking where AI agents successfully eliminate manual tasks and where they require human review.

Technologies & Areas of Interest

Experience or strong interest in some of the following is helpful:
• Python (for basic scripting and API hooks)
• Zapier / Make.com / Native API Integrations
• AI Browser Automation Agents (Skyvern, MultiOn, Induced.ai, or Puppeteer/Selenium)
• Large Language Model APIs (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Claude)
• Prompt Engineering & Context Management
• Notion, Slack, and GitHub API integrations
You do not need deep experience with every single tool listed. We prioritize candidates who possess strong problem-solving logic and a drive to learn automation tools at lightning speed.

Who We’re Looking For

This opportunity is designed for students, self-taught automation enthusiasts, or early-career systems engineers who want to specialize in the rapidly growing field of AI Operational Automation.
The ideal candidate is:
• An optimization fanatic who hates seeing manual, repetitive tasks done twice.
• Highly resourceful at connecting disparate software tools using APIs and webhooks.
• Intrigued by autonomous agent behaviors, tool-calling capabilities, and web scraping.
• Fully capable of troubleshooting workflows independently when UI layouts shift.
• Excited to drastically multiply a startup's operational velocity.

What You’ll Gain

• Comprehensive, real-world experience configuring and deploying production-level AI agents.
• Deep tactical mastery over multi-step automation engines and LLM API capabilities.
• Direct collaboration and weekly strategy syncs with company leadership.
• High-visibility impact: your work will actively save the team dozens of hours every single week.
• Professional networking, mentorship, and a formal letter of recommendation upon completion.
• Potential consideration for future paid opportunities based on performance and company growth.

California Legal Compliance
