Platform Engineering Lead

Niuro is hiring a Platform Engineering Lead for an enterprise AI platform company. You will architect the core platform, a unified data and ontology layer that lets AI agents work securely in production, and lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.

You will

• Architect the core platform: a unified data layer over databases, APIs, documents and real-time feeds.
• Design semantic layers and ontologies for business objects, workflows and permissions.
• Build infrastructure so AI agents can securely access context, call tools and run workflows.
• Lead and mentor Forward Deployed Engineers and set engineering standards.
• Turn customer-specific solutions into reusable platform capabilities.
• Implement enterprise security: identity, data isolation, audit logging and compliance.

You bring

• 6+ years in software engineering with real ownership of production architecture.
• Full-stack proficiency: TypeScript, Python, React, APIs and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing ontologies, knowledge graphs or semantic data models.
• Took software from prototype to production in distributed cloud environments.
• Enterprise security background: RBAC/ABAC, data isolation, encryption, compliance.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers. Able to travel internationally.
• C1 English.

Nice to have: LLMs and AI agents, vector databases, event-driven architecture, ERP/CRM integration, workflow automation.

Contract: full-time, fully remote, monthly contract in USD.
