Senior Finance Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and accounting software, along with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, payroll and bank deposits.
• Prepare budget forecasts and support financial planning.
• Prepare and publish accurate financial statements within stipulated timelines.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and other financial obligations.
• Calculate tax liabilities and prepare and file applicable tax returns.
• Maintain and review balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor the company’s financial position, liquidity, and cash flows.
• Audit financial transactions, supporting documents, and accounting procedures for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of financial information and ensure regular data backups where required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience working as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• CA/CS qualification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and applicable accounting regulations, including GAAP where relevant.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and FreshBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Experience with general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial closing processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
• CPA or CMA certification will be an added advantage.
