About GovXprt

GovXprt is an early-stage GovTech startup building an AI-powered platform to simplify government permitting and regulatory compliance.

Our platform helps individuals and businesses navigate complex government requirements through AI-assisted document processing, automated workflows, and verified regulatory experts.

We already have an existing platform and codebase. Our initial focus is California retail food permitting, with plans to expand into additional regulatory programs.

Our founders bring industry experience in regulatory compliance and permitting.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to become a long-term technical partner and help bring GovXprt to market.

You'll work directly with the founders, lead technical development, and help shape the company's technology and future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, improve, and maintain our existing platform.

Lead development of our first complete customer workflow, targeting launch in approximately 90 days following an initial technical assessment.

Develop and improve AI integrations, document processing, and expert-review workflows.

Manage security, hosting, deployments, monitoring, and platform reliability.

Guide future technical development and scalability.

What We're Looking For

Strong full-stack development experience.

Proven ability to build and launch production software.

Experience with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and AI/LLM integrations.

Independent problem-solving and clear communication.

Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in long-term ownership.

GovTech, SaaS, or marketplace experience is a plus.

Equity & Partnership

2% equity, vesting over four years with a one-year cliff.

No salary or cash compensation currently offered.

Flexible schedule with mutually agreed milestones and responsibilities.

Genuine long-term ownership opportunity, with final terms subject to a formal legal agreement.
