Java Architect (BPM)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA – Hybrid

Experience: 10+ Years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, guide development teams, and design scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to define and deliver solutions.
Design scalable microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
Drive code quality, performance optimization, and technical improvements.
Design and implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka.
Develop and integrate Business Process Management (BPM) and workflow automation solutions.

Required Skills – Must Have

Java & Spring Boot – Advanced
Business Process Management (BPM) – Advanced
Apache Kafka – Advanced
