- Building automation protocols and controls platforms, working hands-on with BACnet and Modbus and with DDC and PLC controls platforms, including network architecture and device level integration.
Desired Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing BAS vendor submittal packages against a design standard, issuing technically grounded comments, and dispositioning them to closure through package revisions.
- The ability to independently produce complete BAS design packages, including sequences of operations, points lists, controls schematics, riser and network architecture diagrams, panel and device schedules, and specifications.
- Strong working knowledge of building automation protocols such as BACnet and Modbus, and of DDC and PLC controls platforms.
- Working knowledge of HVAC and mechanical and electrical systems as they relate to controls integration.
- Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Visio.
