We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Management Analyst to provide analytical, management, operational, and organizational support for complex programs.
Responsibilities
- This position applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information in support of program and project managers, customers, and major Command-level mission requirements.
- The Mid-Level Management Analyst will evaluate organizational structures, management processes, resource utilization, operational efficiency, and program performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- This position will develop recommendations and solutions to management challenges, support program and project milestones, analyze performance metrics, and communicate findings to senior leadership.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience supporting complex operational environments, and significant experience with U.S. Navy programs or operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Management, a technical field, or another relevant discipline is desired.
- An associate’s degree (AA/AS) may be substituted for the BA/BS degree with an additional four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
- Seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a related field is desired.
- Significant experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations is desired.
- Demonstrated experience applying analytical methods and techniques to evaluate management processes, organizational effectiveness, resource utilization, and operational performance.
- Experience developing and analyzing program or project metrics, milestones, and performance information.
- Experience conducting work measurement studies, operational efficiency reviews, cost studies, workload analyses, or similar business-related analytical activities.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead working groups, team meetings, workshops, roundtables, or other collaborative activities.
- Ability to develop practical solutions to complex management and organizational challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy Commands, programs, or operations.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense programs.
- Experience with organizational effectiveness, process improvement, resource management, or program evaluation.
- Experience with logistics, quality assurance, budgeting, financial analysis, or cost analysis.
- Experience developing and delivering customized training programs, workshops, or management roundtables.
- Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership or Command-level stakeholders.
- Experience using automated management information systems and other analytical tools to support fact-finding, analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
