About the job
What you'll do
- Build and polish the marketing site, docs and customer dashboard (Next.js, React, Tailwind)
- Build the /v1 API customers pay for: sign-up, API keys, rate limiting, usage metering and Stripe billing
- Show forecasts and their uncertainty clearly — maps, radar loops and storm-track ensembles
- Keep it fast and accessible; the site is image-heavy and is read at 3am during a storm What we look for
- Real production experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js
- Backend experience building and running an API: Node or Python, Postgres, authentication
- A strong eye for design and detail — you care how things look and read, not just whether they work
- Maps or data-visualisation experience (MapLibre, deck.gl, D3) is a strong plus
