SAS Developer

Job Description:

Stratacent is seeking SAS Developer is responsible for supporting the SAS AML ecosystem who has expertise in design, development, maintenance, and enhancement. Familiar with database interactions like Oracle, batch processing, reporting, analytical workflows, and supporting applications hosted on Linux environment. This role serves as a technical bridge between source systems, DataFlux processes, and AML transaction monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SAS programs supporting AML processing.

• Build reusable macros and utilities.

• Enhance batch workflows and operational processes.

• Support performance optimization of SAS jobs.

• Develop complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.

• Optimize data extraction and transformation processes.

• Support data model enhancements and performance tuning.

• Troubleshoot database-related issues impacting AML processing.

• Develop operational reports supporting compliance and investigations teams.

• Build alert, case, and scenario performance dashboards.

• Support ad-hoc analysis requests from compliance and business teams.

• Generate regulatory and management reporting datasets.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required, and equivalent work experience required.

• Multiple years of programming ADVANCED BASE SAS.

• Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient.

• Working experience with different database like Oracle, MySQL, SQL or NoSQL.

• Expertise with SAS Studio, Enterprise Guide, Visual Analytics

• Experience with Linux\Unix OS
