Compensation: $95,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience, plus performance bonus
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday
Quantum Building Solutions is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Controls Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC controls and building automation projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position offers an opportunity to lead projects ranging from system retrofits to large-scale new construction, working with a variety of commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC controls and building automation projects from initial handoff through final completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure timely, profitable execution.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify potential issues and maintain scope accuracy.
- Oversee project documentation, equipment procurement, submittals, change orders, and progress reporting.
- Collaborate with general contractors, building owners, technicians, and other trades throughout each project.
- Monitor project costs, billing, and financial performance to meet established profit targets.
- Coordinate system startup, testing, commissioning, customer training, and project closeout.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on building automation experience, with 3 years overseeing controls projects.
- Knowledge of major BAS systems, including Niagara, Metasys, or Distech.
- Understanding of commercial HVAC operations, BACnet communications, and system sequences.
- Proven skills in cost tracking, project planning, financial reporting, and contract administration.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and customer relations skills.
- Active driver's license and availability for local job-site visits.
- Background in hospital projects, controls upgrades, or BAS programming is a plus.
- Experience with Sage, Procore, or comparable project software preferred.
- Technical degree, industry certifications, or formal project management training desirable.

Salary: $95000.00 - $125000.00 per year
