The Role

EVONAIRE INC. is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to help transform company vision into coordinated, measurable execution.

The Chief Operating Officer will work closely with the Founder and Chief Executive Officer and the broader executive leadership team to establish operating systems, strengthen cross-functional coordination, improve organizational discipline, and support the company as it moves through product development and early-stage growth.

This role is suited for an operator who is comfortable working inside an ambitious startup where systems are actively being built rather than inherited.

What You’ll Do

• Translate executive strategy into clear operational priorities
• Coordinate execution across company pods and functional leaders
• Build scalable internal operating systems, workflows, and accountability structures
• Improve communication between leadership, technology, legal, security, experience, care, and other operating functions
• Establish company-wide processes for planning, documentation, reporting, and decision-making
• Track organizational priorities, dependencies, risks, and execution progress
• Support hiring, onboarding, contractor coordination, and organizational development
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, resource allocation, operational readiness, and growth planning
• Help prepare the organization for future fundraising, partnerships, product launches, and expansion
• Maintain operational alignment with EVONAIRE INC.’s public-benefit mission, privacy standards, and governance principles

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with:

• Significant operations, startup, business, or executive leadership experience
• Strong organizational and systems-thinking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort operating in an early-stage environment with evolving systems
• Strong judgment, discretion, and accountability
• Ability to convert complex goals into practical execution plans
• Experience creating repeatable processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy
• A high degree of independence and ownership
• Alignment with a consent-centered, privacy-conscious approach to technology

Experience with startups, technology companies, public benefit corporations, platform businesses, regulated environments, or mission-driven organizations is especially valuable.

Compensation

4% equity and deferred salary, subject to vesting, applicable approvals, definitive agreements, and company equity documentation.

Candidates should carefully evaluate the risks and potential rewards associated with equity compensation at an early-stage company.
