Job Title: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer

Location: Mossville, IL (Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer to support advanced engineering analysis, product development, and performance optimization activities. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hands-on experience in CFD analysis, with strong expertise in fluid flow, heat transfer, thermodynamics, aerothermal analysis, and numerical simulation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CFD analysis related to fluid flow, heat transfer, aerodynamics, acoustics, and thermal management
• Develop and execute simulation models using Fluent/OpenFOAM
• Validate simulation results and provide engineering recommendations
• Support product design, testing, and performance improvement activities
• Participate in project review meetings and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and analysis documentation

Key Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Fluent and/or OpenFOAM
• Strong expertise in Fluid Flow, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Aero Thermal Analysis, and CFD Simulations
• Experience developing, validating, and verifying CFD models using experimental and theoretical data
• Ability to analyze simulation results and provide design optimization recommendations
• Experience supporting construction equipment, heavy equipment, or earthmoving equipment is preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
