Job Summary
Bitcot is seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Application Analyst to implement, optimize, and support Epic Professional Billing applications. The analyst will work closely with business and operational stakeholders to ensure Epic functionality aligns with professional billing and revenue cycle workflows.
The ideal candidate will have Epic Professional Billing (PB) certification and/or strong hands-on experience, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role will be responsible for requirements analysis, application configuration and build, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, implementation, and ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and support Epic Professional Billing (PB) solutions.
2. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into application configuration and functional solutions.
3. Analyze existing professional billing and revenue cycle workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
4. Configure and build Epic PB functionality to meet operational and business requirements.
5. Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve application issues and implement new functionality.
6. Support day-to-day existing Epic PB functionality and production applications.
7. Develop detailed system design, build, configuration, and application documentation.
8. Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional designs and documentation.
9. Perform application testing, including unit, integrated, regression, and user acceptance testing.
10. Research and analyze vendor release notes and application documentation to understand new functionality and system changes.
11. Support Epic PB implementations, enhancements, upgrades, conversions, and optimization initiatives.
12. Participate in project lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
13. Collaborate with other application analysts, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support end-to-end system functionality and integration.
14. Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams.
15. Provide application support, training, and guidance to end users.
16. Participate in go-live preparation, implementation, stabilization, and post-go-live support.
17. Meet with business and operational stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and address application needs.
18. Communicate application issues, project status, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements
Required

1. Epic Professional Billing (PB) certification and/or hands-on experience required.
2. 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare IT, application support, implementation, or a related area.
3. Strong understanding of professional billing and revenue cycle workflows.
4. Experience with Epic application configuration, build, testing, implementation, optimization, and support.
5. Experience analyzing business and functional requirements and translating them into application solutions.
6. Experience with professional billing, claims, charge capture, reimbursement, and payment workflows.
7. Experience troubleshooting application issues and supporting production functionality.
8. Experience working with project lifecycle or application implementation methodologies.
9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
10. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Peferred

• Active/current Epic Professional Billing (PB) certification.
• Experience supporting Epic PB implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization projects.
• Experience working with complex healthcare revenue cycle environments.
• Additional Epic revenue cycle certifications, such as Hospital Billing (HB) or related applications.
• Experience working across integrated Epic applications and end-to-end revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience with application design, configuration documentation, testing, and go-live support. *
