Full Stack and Support Intern

Work on a payments platform serving merchants. We are looking for a Night Shift Support Intern to keep the platform stable and reliable during overnight hour.
You will be responsible for monitoring production systems, responding to alerts, troubleshooting live issues, and ensuring critical problems are resolved or properly escalated. This is a hands-on production support role for someone who stays calm under pressure and enjoys solving technical problems in real time.

What You'll Do

• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts during the night shift.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues such as failed payments, stuck settlements, broken webhooks, API failures, and other critical incidents.
• Pick up issues escalated by the support desk and investigate them to identify the root cause.
• Work closely with the day engineering and support teams to ensure issues are properly tracked and resolved.
• Ship urgent production fixes through the approved CI/CD and deployment pipeline.
• Monitor systems after fixes to ensure the platform returns to a stable state.
• Document incidents, root causes, actions taken, and any follow-up required.
• Provide a short morning handover to the day team covering incidents, fixes, outstanding issues, and recommended follow-ups.
• Contribute to improving monitoring, alerting, incident response, and system reliability.

What You Need

• Experience in backend engineering, SRE, production support, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-based production systems.
• Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, asynchronous processes, and distributed systems.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with CI/CD and production deployment pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to work the night shift long term.
