About the job
About TenantIQ
TenantIQ is building predictive intelligence for commercial real estate.
Today, leasing teams use TenantIQ to understand which businesses are most likely to expand into a specific property - and reach the people responsible for making that real estate decision.
A broker gives us a property. TenantIQ analyzes the location, space and surrounding market, identifies operators that fit, explains why they are likely prospects, and surfaces verified contact information for the relevant decision-makers.
We're early, but the signal is strong. We've worked with teams across firms including CBRE, Northmarq, Keller Williams, SVN and others, and we've built an outbound engine that consistently generates conversations and demos with commercial real estate professionals.
We're now looking for someone who can turn that demand into revenue.
The role
This is a full-cycle sales role.
You'll own opportunities from the first conversation through close. We already handle much of the prospecting infrastructure, data and outbound before you ever pick up the phone, so your job is not to spend all day researching leads.
Your job is to talk to buyers, understand what they're trying to lease, show them how TenantIQ can help, and move deals forward.
That means a mixture of outbound calling, responding to inbound and email interest, running demos, following up, negotiating, closing and managing your pipeline.
This is an early-stage company, so we don't want someone who needs every step scripted for them. You'll have call recordings, messaging, data and a sales process to work from, but you'll also be expected to develop your own judgment about what works.
You'll work directly with the founder and have meaningful input into how we sell the product, who we sell it to, what prospects respond to and how the sales motion evolves.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who likes the actual work of selling.
You should be comfortable picking up the phone, handling objections, asking direct questions, running a sharp demo and asking someone to buy.
You don't need ten years of enterprise SaaS experience. We'd rather have someone hungry, commercially sharp and highly accountable than someone with the perfect résumé.
You'll probably be a strong fit if you:
- Have personally closed B2B customers before and are comfortable owning a deal end-to-end.
- Have real outbound experience and don't avoid the phone.
- Can create momentum in a sales conversation rather than waiting for the buyer to lead.
- Are comfortable asking for the business and discussing money directly.
- Follow up persistently without needing to be reminded.
- Communicate clearly and naturally over both phone and email.
- Keep a disciplined pipeline and know what needs to happen next on every live opportunity.
- Learn quickly from calls and adjust your approach rather than mechanically following a script.
- Can operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Speak fluent, natural English and can work US business hours.
Experience selling into commercial real estate, SMB SaaS or another outbound-driven B2B environment is useful, but not required.
What this is not
This isn't a role where you wait for perfectly qualified inbound leads and spend your day managing a handful of accounts.
It's also not a pure SDR job where success ends when a meeting hits the calendar.
You own revenue.
You'll prospect when necessary, run your own meetings, manage your opportunities and close your own business.
What you'll get
You'll join with a working product, existing customers, an established outbound engine and a growing pipeline rather than starting from a blank sheet.
You'll get direct access to the founder, visibility into the entire sales funnel, recordings and examples from previous deals, and a lot of autonomy over how you sell.
Compensation includes a competitive base plus uncapped commission, with higher earnings as performance increases.
More importantly, this is an opportunity to join extremely early. If you perform, there is significant room to take on more responsibility as the commercial team grows.
