Senior Code Quality Engineer

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 7+ years of professional software-engineering experience is mandatory. Your resume must clearly show this requirement or your application will be automatically rejected.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT: Strong proficiency in at least one production programming language and substantial experience building, maintaining, debugging, reviewing, and securing production-grade software are mandatory.

We are hiring a Senior Code Quality Engineer for a remote three-month contractor assignment supporting AI code evaluation.

What you will do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, scalability, and production quality.
• Debug complex code and assess architecture, tests, and engineering tradeoffs.
• Design coding benchmarks and improve evaluation methodologies with researchers and engineering teams.
• Provide clear technical feedback across languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, PHP, or Rust.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software-engineering experience.
• Strong production coding, debugging, testing, and code-review experience.
• Excellent analytical judgment and written communication.

Engagement and compensation

• Contractor role for approximately three months.
• Minimum 40 hours per week, including at least 4 hours overlap with PST.
• Compensation: $30 per hour.
• Selection includes an AI interview and delivery review/interview.
