The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the automation, infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes that enable reliable and efficient software delivery. This role works closely with development, QA, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, monitoring solutions, and automated deployment processes.

The DevOps Engineer will help improve application availability, scalability, security, deployment frequency, and overall engineering productivity by applying Infrastructure as Code, automation, DevSecOps, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices.

Devops Engineer should also be supporting production operations and monitoring the platforms.

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.
  • Automate application and infrastructure deployment across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement automated configuration management, provisioning, and environment management.
  • Manage source-code repositories and branching strategies using Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
  • Integrate automated unit, integration, security, performance, and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, dependency scanning, and security controls within pipelines.
  • Establish and maintain application and infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using DataDog, CatchPoint.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures, infrastructure issues, performance problems, and production incidents.
  • Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning.
  • Implement high-availability, scalability, backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity solutions.
  • Automate repetitive operational activities.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve application architecture, deployment processes, and operational readiness.
  • Support release management and production deployments while minimizing deployment risk and downtime.
  • Establish DevOps standards, best practices, reusable pipeline templates, and engineering guidelines.
  • Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve deployment speed, reliability, scalability, and engineering efficiency.
  • Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment procedures, architecture, troubleshooting, and operational processes.

Salary range: $68,200 - $105,525 annually,

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum and AI SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience with production incident management and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security practices.
  • Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of SFCC platform.
