ME Engineers is seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals passionate about building systems, engineering analysis, and delivering high-quality solutions in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Technology) consulting industry.
As part of our team, you will work on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, healthcare, recreational, government, and educational facilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engineering design, commissioning, project coordination, field investigations, and construction administration activities.
Projects are located throughout the United States, and this position requires approximately 25-50% travel.
What You'll Do
- Support the design, evaluation, and coordination of building systems and engineering solutions.
- Assist with commissioning activities for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Prepare construction documents and project deliverables using Revit, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Perform engineering calculations, technical analyses, and system evaluations.
- Participate in site visits, field investigations, testing, and construction administration activities.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Support project managers and senior engineers in project execution, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
- Apply industry standards, codes, and best practices throughout project work.
- Contribute to successful project delivery through strong attention to detail and effective communication.
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of building HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software preferred.
- Internship or prior experience with an MEP consulting or commissioning firm is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
