Steel Warehouse is a leading steel service center serving manufacturers with reliable supply, processing, and engineering support. We’re hiring an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to help us design practical solutions, support product/process development, and collaborate with our production and design teams to deliver steel-based components and engineered outcomes for customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical products and components (e.g., machines, instruments, controls, or engineered solutions)
• Collaborate with a design team to develop design sketches, layouts, and engineering plans
• Use computer-assisted design (CAD) to create preliminary and detailed drawings
• Develop product specifications and help determine raw materials/components used in production
• Build models/prototypes and support testing and validation of designs
• Analyze test data, compare results against similar designs, and recommend improvements
• Develop or support control systems and help monitor/optimize production
• Perform other related engineering duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
• 5+ years of related mechanical engineering experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent mechanical/technical skills and engineering judgment
• Proficient with CAD software (detailed drawings, layouts, engineering documentation)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
