Scrum Master / .NET Developer

We are looking for a collaborative Scrum Master / .NET Developer to help our small team deliver and modernize our SaaS event ticketing platform, used by museums, colleges, universities, and other organizations.

This hybrid role combines Agile team facilitation with hands-on software development. The work will be split roughly equally between these responsibilities, with priorities shifting as needed.

What You’ll Do

Scrum Master Responsibilities
• Support the team’s Kanban workflow by keeping the board, priorities, and work items clear and up to date.
• Monitor work in progress, identify blockers, and help keep work moving.
• Facilitate brief team check-ins and support ongoing improvements to the team’s workflow.

Development Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Work with SQL Server, Entity Framework / EF Core, and NoSQL systems.
• Develop and support applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain front-end functionality using JavaScript and jQuery.
• Help maintain and modernize existing .NET Framework and Classic ASP applications.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar tools, and review and test AI-generated work for quality, security, and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional software development experience, with recent hands-on experience in C# and .NET.
• Experience facilitating Scrum or Agile teams and coordinating work across team members.
• Experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL Server and Entity Framework / EF Core.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools, with the judgment to review and validate their output.
• Strong debugging, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working in a small, collaborative team and contributing both as a facilitator and an individual developer.

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET Framework or Classic ASP.
• CI/CD or DevOps experience.
• Automated testing and SOLID principles.
• Experience working on a SaaS product.
