Senior Backend .NET Engineer

Role: .NET Backend DeveloperLocation: Fremont, CA 5 days onsite OR Austin TXInterview: Code Test + Video Interview + In person interview at Tesla office. Responsibilities: Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle for applications, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standardsDesign, develop, and maintain full stack web applications, utilizing .NET Core, C#Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, service engineers and other software engineers, to define and implement features that enhance operational efficiency for our customEnsure that web applications integrate seamlessly with backend distributed systems and support real-time monitoring, control, and reportingContribute to the definition and implementation of extensible design systems that prioritize scalability, maintainability, and exceptional user experiencesImplement rigorous testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to guarantee the reliability and performance of applications under various conditionsActively maintain and promote the core values of the team, which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability, contributing to a positive and productive team culture Drive initiatives from concept to completion, from defining the business need with product experts, to conducting user interviews, culminating in feature implementationQualifications:

• 5+ years of professional work experience in software development, with proficiency in .NET and C# (particularly .NET Core)
• Expertise in SQL queries using MySQL, with a strong ability to design and optimize database interactions
• Demonstrated expertise in building secure, scalable REST APIs
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming and software architecture, including fluency in software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity, and maintainability
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, package management, and dependency injection
• Experience with Angular and React is a plus but not required
• Proven experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka for messaging and event streaming
• Working knowledge of continuous deployment, feature toggles, logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting
