Location: Irving, TX (Onsite - 5 Days per Week)

Overview

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team supporting enterprise-scale networking environments. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure while ensuring reliability, performance, scalability, and security across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, network troubleshooting, and enterprise network operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network and infrastructure solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching environments.
• Manage and support LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents, including routing, switching, and connectivity problems.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls, security appliances, and load balancing technologies.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Ensure network configurations are properly managed, standardized, efficient, and well documented.
• Review and improve existing network configurations and operational processes.
• Perform network hygiene, cleanup, and optimization activities.
• Respond to and resolve infrastructure and network support tickets.
• Identify and remediate inefficient or poorly managed network configurations.
• Support and enhance a highly available enterprise network environment.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Routing and switching
• SD-WAN technologies
• Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Arista
• BGP routing and troubleshooting
• VLAN configuration and management
• WAN technologies
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Network documentation and diagramming
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
