Key Responsibilities

  • Perform required internal AS9100 and FAA audits, including planning, execution, documentation, and follow-up activities.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable FAA, AS9100, and internal quality procedures.

  • Support and participate in customer, FAA, DCMA, and AS9100 external audits.

  • Document audit findings accurately and promptly.

  • Creation, processing, and closure of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) from result of audits

  • Assist Quality Engineers with source inspections, including preparing documentation, verifying compliance, and coordinating with customers or suppliers.

  • Support the creation, processing, and closure of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).

  • Assist with inspections of repair units and production units, verifying conformity to engineering requirements, regulatory standards, and company procedures.

  • Document and report nonconformities and inspection.

  • Maintain quality records, audit files, and inspection documentation in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement

  • Travel up to 15% of the time

  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field preferred, plus a minimum of 1 year of direct industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
