Onsite full time in Westwood, California

Minimum Role Expectations:

• Build and deploy production AI workflows used by non-technical teams across the Company.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Python, LLM APIs, workflow automation, APIs, SQL, and modern AI development tools.
• Translate business problems into working AI solutions that deliver measurable productivity, quality, or cost improvements.
• Maintain appropriate testing, documentation, monitoring, access controls, and human-review processes for deployed systems.
• Ship quickly while maintaining reliability, data security, and appropriate escalation of HIPAA or compliance-sensitive use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Clove OS, including shared AI infrastructure, prompt libraries, agent frameworks, data pipelines, retrieval systems, evaluation tools, and reusable components.
• Develop production AI agents and automations for operations, recruiting, business development, marketing, RCM, scheduling, finance, and clinical-support workflows.
• Integrate AI workflows with Company systems including Open Dental, CRM/Zoho, ATS, payroll, marketing platforms, and other operational tools.
• Build APIs, data pipelines, databases, and integrations required to move structured and unstructured data between Company systems and AI applications.
• Develop automated workflows for acquisition sourcing and enrichment, recruiting outreach, scheduling analysis, marketing content, RCM analysis, and other high-value use cases.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, reliability, hallucination rates, cost, latency, adoption, and business impact.
• Monitor deployed agents and workflows, identify failures, and continuously improve prompts, models, data, logic, and system architecture.
• Evaluate AI models, vendors, frameworks, and automation platforms and recommend build-versus-buy decisions based on performance, security, scalability, and cost.
• Partner directly with functional leaders to understand workflows, identify automation opportunities, scope solutions, and deploy useful tools quickly.
• Train employees on deployed AI tools and maintain clear documentation, workflows, and operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate point solutions and reduce software and AI-tooling costs through shared infrastructure.
• Partner with leadership and appropriate advisors on data security, HIPAA, privacy, and compliance requirements for AI-enabled workflows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Core KPIs:

• Deploy 20+ production AI agents/workflows during the first 12 months.
• Target 10+ hours of weekly labor savings for each scaled workflow where reasonably measurable.
• Deliver 3x+ productivity improvement across at least two material Company workflows.
• Increase recruiting outreach capacity by 2–3x without material deterioration in candidate quality.
• Achieve AI-generated market enrichment for 100% of qualified Corp Dev targets.
• Achieve adoption of at least 2 production AI workflows per functional leader by month six.
• Demonstrate measurable reductions in manual work, turnaround time, errors, and/or software costs across deployed workflows.

Path to AI II: Demonstrate sustained ability to independently identify, architect, deploy, and maintain production AI systems that materially improve Company productivity or economics; build reusable infrastructure rather than one-off automations; achieve strong internal adoption; and successfully operate AI workflows across multiple functions. Advancement is based on measurable business impact, technical capability, system reliability, increased scope, and Company needs.
