About the job
Ready to Help Shape the Future of Legal Tech?!
At Litera, we don't just build software, we transform how the world's top law firms operate. Every day, we Raise The Bar™️ for what's possible through AI, innovation, and solutions that power millions of legal professionals worldwide. If you're energized by scale, real impact, and meaningful challenges, you'll feel right at home here.
Where You'll Work
Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.
Why this Role Matters
As Senior Technical Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind Litera's most strategic R&D initiatives — ensuring complex, cross-functional projects land on time and deliver real business outcomes. You'll partner closely with engineering leaders, product teams, and stakeholders across the globe to orchestrate integrations, OKR execution, and product delivery at scale. This is a high-visibility role where your ability to bring clarity to ambiguity directly accelerates the company's growth and innovation roadmap.
What You'll Deliver
- Own the end-to-end delivery of strategic R&D projects and integrations, from planning through launch, ensuring milestones are hit and stakeholders stay aligned.
- Build and maintain integrated project plans that clearly map dependencies, critical paths, and resource needs across multiple workstreams.
- Drive execution against RCDOs (Rally Cry Defining Objectives), keeping program data consistent, progress visible, and risks surfaced early.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and leadership teams — including international partners — to remove blockers and accelerate delivery.
- Establish and manage project expectations, proactively adjusting scope and timelines when priorities shift in a fast-moving environment.
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting on program health, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Lead change management efforts that keep projects on track through shifting requirements and competing priorities.
- Champion continuous improvement in how R&D plans, executes, and delivers across the portfolio.
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of project or program management experience in a technology environment.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar).
- Track record leading technical projects spanning infrastructure, software development, or product delivery.
- Experience managing integration projects with multiple dependencies and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including senior management.
- High attention to detail with strong facilitation and organizational skills.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience collaborating with international and globally distributed teams.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and a willingness to adopt emerging technologies into your workflow.
- Comfort operating independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal direction.
- A genuine love for learning and staying current with evolving project management practices.
Great candidates don't check every box. If this role excites you and you bring most of what we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Experience
- A team that shows up. Work alongside people who collaborate, support one another, and lead with integrity.
- Global Reach. Partner with teams around the world to solve complex challenges that matter.
- Real opportunity for growth. Expand your impact through meaningful stretch opportunities, visibility and career development.
- AI-driven innovation. Work at the intersection of legal technology, customer outcomes, and cutting-edge AI.
