Essential Skills and Knowledge :

• Advanced Networking: Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), advanced switching features (HSRP/VRRP, complex QoS), and firewall configuration/policy management.

• IT Service Management: Solid understanding of ITIL v4 principles, especially Change, Incident, and Problem Management.

• Monitoring & Diagnostics: Deep proficiency with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark) and network performance monitoring (NPM) systems.

• Scripting: Basic experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation or configuration management.

Required Qualifications :

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience as a Network Engineer or senior technical specialist.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).

• Certifications (Required): Cisco Certified Network Associate ( CCNA ).

• Certifications (Desired): ITIL v4 Foundation and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are highly preferred.
