We are seeking an Integration Engineer who thrives working autonomously, embedded directly with a client team, to turn an engagement into an itemized, leadership-ready roadmap. This role is ideal for an engineer who excels at both hands-on technical delivery and translating technical opportunity into ROI a non-technical stakeholder can act on – combining strong full-stack and integration engineering with architecture thinking, rapid prototyping, and HIPAA-compliant data handling.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Embed directly with a client team as an autonomous, forward-deployed technical partner – navigating independently and flagging blockers early rather than waiting to be directed.
• Build and maintain a prioritized discovery backlog in partnership with client stakeholders, reviewed and re-prioritized on a recurring cadence.
• Evaluate AI integration opportunities against the client’s existing systems (EMR platforms, care management systems) and validate feasibility, ROI, and fit within the client’s approved technology stack
• Design and build on Microsoft Azure – integration and automation layers, reference architecture, and configuration-driven, scalable solutions
• Produce mockups that business owners can evaluate without a technical background, and written use cases with ROI and business cases an executive sponsor can act on
• Deliver a technical roadmap and reference architecture designed for the client’s own teams to own and support going forward.
• Design privacy-first data flows and integrations that adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling Protected Health Information (PHI)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on full-stack and integration engineering background – this role builds and prototypes; it doesn’t just advise
• Proficiency in a modern, widely adopted stack — TypeScript/Node and Python in particular
• Practical experience applying LLMs to real delivery work — AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and building agent-based workflows and integrations
• Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft/Azure stack, particularly integration, automation, and API-based architectures
• Experience integrating with healthcare EMR and/or care management platforms is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements, data anonymization, and secure handling of Protected Health Information
• Track record of working autonomously with limited day-to-day oversight, with the judgment to proactively flag blockers rather than let them absorb time silently
• Comfortable translating technical opportunities into ROI and business cases for non-technical, executive stakeholders.
• Ability to produce clear, presentable mockups and working prototypes on a compressed timeline
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English, with demonstrable experience working in a remote, client-facing environment

Salary

Salary range: CA$126,000 - CA$168,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.

Location:

This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with Mountain or Pacific U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules. Travel to Arizona up to 4 times a year will be required.

Position Details

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
