QE Automation (API Automation + Java , Selenium + Rest Assured)

5-10 years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience with strong expertise in API and UI automation within Agile delivery environments.

Hands-on experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch, including scalable, reusable, data-driven, and maintainable test architectures.

Strong proficiency in Java, REST Assured, TestNG/JUnit, and API automation with REST/SOAP services. REST Assured automation is mandatory.

Develop and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java, supporting functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Create automated API test suites covering request/response validation, authentication, contract testing, negative scenarios, and backend data verification.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and Scrum teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

Build and execute automated regression suites within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.

Perform backend and database validation using SQL to verify data integrity, transactions, and system integrations across banking platforms.

Contribute to test strategy, automation best practices, framework enhancements, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin, Page Object Model (POM), and data-driven automation approaches is preferred.

Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, support release validation, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.

Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Credit Cards, Lending, or Wealth Management domain experience is highly preferred.
