YOUR ROLE

The Security Manager is responsible for supporting and executing security programs across warehouse facilities, distribution operations, and event or entertainment venues. This position helps protect employees, visitors, customers, facilities, inventory, equipment, and other company assets while promoting a safe and secure workplace. This individual will serve as an on-site security resource and works closely with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, Facilities, Transportation, venue management, third-party security providers, and local emergency responders. The position requires a highly visible presence, sound judgment, strong investigative skills, and the ability to respond professionally and effectively to security incidents in fast-paced warehouse and venue environments.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Security Operations

• Monitor and support daily security activities at assigned warehouses, distribution facilities, and venues.
• Conduct routine and targeted security inspections of buildings, yards, docks, parking areas, entrances, exits, and restricted-access locations.
• Ensure established security procedures, site policies, and access-control standards are consistently followed.
• Monitor employee, contractor, vendor, visitor, and vehicle access to company facilities.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Assist site leadership with implementation of physical security procedures and security improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence during normal operations and high-volume events.
• Receive all operational physical security requests, review requests based on requirements of CEVA, customer, government, regulatory, and industry standards
• Review and audit guard coverage invoicing for assigned location(s). Identify, investigate, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
• Review proposed customer security requirements and indicate any areas of non-compliance with appropriate CEVA business partners.
• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure customer security requirements are implemented as directed by contractual obligations and meet CEVA Security Standards.
• Conduct security audits as necessary and in compliance with the CEVA Security audit policy.
• Perform on-site security assessments in coordination with site leadership to identify potential areas of vulnerability and mitigation actions.
• Partner with CEVA stakeholders to address internal and external threats and provide expertise during critical situations to improve the overall security effectiveness.
• Ensure surveillance systems, security systems and alarms in field locations are maintained and operational.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Venue & Event Security

• Support security planning and execution for entertainment events, special projects, and other venue-related operations.
• Coordinate security requirements involving employees, contractors, vendors, production personnel, drivers, guests, and other authorized individuals.
• Assist with credentialing, restricted-area access, loading dock security, backstage or production-area security, and controlled entry points.
• Support crowd-management and emergency-response procedures within the scope of company policy and assigned responsibilities.
• Participate in pre-event security briefings and post-event reviews.
• Escalate significant concerns immediately to appropriate site leadership and emergency personnel.

Warehouse & Supply Chain Security

• Support security controls designed to protect inventory and products throughout warehouse and distribution operations.
• Monitor shipping, receiving, loading docks, trailer yards, employee entrances, visitor entrances, and other high-risk areas.
• Assist with investigations involving suspected theft, cargo loss, unauthorized access, property damage, workplace incidents, and policy violations.
• Conduct security audits and identify opportunities to reduce product loss and operational risk.
• Work collaboratively with Operations and Transportation teams regarding trailer, vehicle, shipment, and facility security concerns.

CCTV, Access Control & Security Systems

• Monitor CCTV, alarm, intrusion-detection, and electronic access-control systems.
• Review surveillance video and access-control records when investigating security incidents.
• Assist with administration of badges, credentials, keys, and restricted-access permissions as authorized.
• Escalate security-system failures and coordinate appropriate follow-up with Facilities, IT, vendors, or management.
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality when handling surveillance footage, employee information, and investigative materials

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, Security, Criminal Justice, Project Management, Construction Management, Accounting or a related field preferred; or combination of education and work experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in corporate security or similar role.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a management or leadership role.
• Experience conducting or supporting security investigations.
• Experience with CCTV and electronic access-control systems.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong written documentation and incident-reporting skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
