Founding Engineer — Home Care Operations Platform

We are building a unified operating platform for home care agencies. The long-term vision is to bring scheduling, caregiver visit monitoring, coordination, intake CRM, hiring, billing, and payroll workflows into one connected system.

We will build it in stages, using real workflows from our Pennsylvania home care agencies to guide each release. The first stage will focus on scheduling, EVV visibility, missed clock-in alerts, caregiver outreach, and coordinator follow-up. Later stages will address intake, hiring, billing, payroll, and the connections between them. We expect to integrate with existing systems where appropriate rather than replace every system at once.

We are looking for a hands-on Founding Engineer / Technical Lead who can turn this vision into a secure, reliable product and help build the engineering team.

What you will do:
• Work directly with the founder and agency staff to map daily workflows and choose what to build first.
• Design a platform that can support multiple home care agencies while keeping each agency’s data separate.
• Build the first production workflows for scheduling, visit monitoring, alerts, and coordination.
• Evaluate and implement integrations with HHAeXchange and other systems as access and technical requirements are confirmed.
• Establish the architecture for future intake CRM, hiring, billing, and payroll capabilities.
• Build appropriate access controls, audit trails, and protections for sensitive information.
• Identify practical uses for AI, such as prioritizing exceptions and assisting staff, while keeping people in control of consequential decisions.
• Help recruit and lead engineers as the product grows.

You should have personally built and maintained production SaaS products, designed integrations between business systems, and led technical decisions from early product stages through launch. Experience in healthcare, home care, workforce management, billing, payroll, or CRM software is valuable. We care most about your ability to simplify complex operations and deliver useful software in stages.
