The Role

We’re looking for a Software Developer who thrives on building efficient, impactful web applications. You’ll design APIs, develop data-driven systems, and power the engine behind our climate risk solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build scalable web applications and APIs using Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Optimize data access and performance with PostgreSQL and SQL
• Develop new features to meet evolving business needs
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable server infrastructure
• Work with time series and geospatial data to deliver actionable insights
• Contribute to innovative tools that reshape how the world insures against climate risk

What You Bring

• 2+ years of full-stack development experience, ideally some spent in a start-up environment
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Java (Maven) and modern API frameworks
• Comfort working in the AWS ecosystem
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter mindset
• Eligible to work without visa sponsorship

Bonus Points

• Experience with GIS / geospatial analysis
• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity
• Skill in data visualization with a strong eye for detail
• Interest in AI technologies
