Developer Relations

About the role

You will combine hands-on coding, technical content, and community building. Your job is to make Openbase easy to understand and use—from a developer’s first tutorial to their first working application.

What you’ll do
Build working demo apps, starter projects, and integration examples using Openbase.
Write practical tutorials, quickstart guides, and API documentation.
Create technical videos and demos for YouTube, X, and developer communities.
Maintain useful GitHub repositories and respond to developer questions and issues.
Build relationships with AI developers, open-source maintainers, and technical creators.
Grow and support our developer community through discussions, workshops, and live coding sessions.
Test the onboarding experience and work with engineering to remove integration problems.
Bring developer feedback into product discussions and recommend improvements.
Track results: successful first API requests, active integrations, returning developers, and conversions from your content.
What we’re looking for
Experience in developer relations, software engineering, developer education, or a similar technical role.
Strong practical skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience working with APIs, SDKs, Git, and GitHub.
Familiarity with LLM APIs and building AI applications.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in writing and on video.
A portfolio of useful technical content, open-source contributions, or working applications.
Confidence engaging directly with developers and solving problems independently.
Fluent English.

Bonus: Experience with AI agent frameworks, developer communities, technical workshops, or growing adoption of an API product.

Your first 90 days
Improve the developer quickstart and identify onboarding friction.
Publish a focused collection of tested tutorials and working starter projects.
Establish a regular technical content and community engagement schedule.
Set up measurement from content discovery through first API request and repeat usage.
Turn recurring developer feedback into actionable product improvements.
