About the job
- Assist with planning and scheduling scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling work.
- Follow and help enforce CIS safety standards, OSHA requirements, and client site rules.
- Coordinate daily work plans, manpower needs, and crew assignments with foremen and the Project Manager.
- Track labor hours, materials, equipment, and job progress, and promptly report cost or schedule concerns.
- Communicate with client representatives about daily field activities and bring requests or issues to the Project Manager for direction.
- Help coordinate scaffold material orders, deliveries, returns, and yard inventory.
- Verify that scaffold inspections, tagging, and required records are completed accurately.
- Submit daily reports, timesheets, and job updates on time.
- Maintain accurate job trackers and electronic project files using email, Excel, Word, and company systems.
- Assist with change order documentation, billing support, and project closeout.
- Manage assigned job activities when the Project Manager is unavailable, as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Participate in training and coaching to develop project management skills.
- At least three years of industrial scaffolding experience, including one year as a foreman or crew lead.
- Working knowledge of tube and clamp and system scaffolding, as well as applicable OSHA scaffold standards.
- OSHA
- Valid TWIC card or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Computer skills, including email, Microsoft Excel and Word, digital forms, timesheets, job trackers, and reports.
- Strong communication skills with crews, clients, and management.
