ABOUT US
CommutEco runs subscription commute vehicles on Chennai's OMR / Chengalpattu IT corridor. Riders find a route in our app, pick a monthly or weekly pass, and get a reserved seat to work. We're small, we move fast, and every rider is someone who paid real money for a reliable seat.

THE ROLE
You are the voice our customers hear. You handle every WhatsApp conversation, call the people who signed up but never booked, and turn interest into subscriptions. You also keep daily operations communication moving — telling riders what's happening with their trip before they have to ask.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Answer inbound WhatsApp chats — route questions, fares, pickup points, trip issues
• Call signups who haven't converted and find out what's actually stopping them
• Walk riders through booking in the app; most drop-offs happen at the payment screen
• Send daily trip updates — departure changes, driver changes, delays
• Log every conversation, so we learn which corridors have real demand
• Flag what you hear: a complaint you get three times is a product bug we haven't found yet

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Fluent Tamil and English, spoken and written — most calls are in Tamil
• Comfortable phoning a stranger. This is the job, not a part of it
• Writes short, clear WhatsApp messages. No essays, no corporate tone
• Organised enough to chase 30 open conversations without dropping one
• Available during commute hours: 07:00–10:00 and 17:00–20:00 IST
• Own laptop and a stable connection

NICE TO HAVE

• Any sales, support or telecalling experience
• Knows Chennai geography — the difference between Perambur and Perungudi
• Comfortable in a spreadsheet

WHAT YOU GET

• Stipend: 10,000 - 12,000 (Depends on the Interview performance)
• Duration: 3 months, fully remote - After 3 months of evaluation, if we feel good we will take you as part time and salary & other perks will decided based on the market standards.
