Internship Overview

We are seeking a motivated Software & Technology Intern to support the development and testing of a minimum viable product (MVP) for a real-world technology initiative.

This internship is designed for students and recent graduates seeking practical experience in software development, product development, prototyping, and technology consulting. The successful candidate will work from defined requirements to design, build, test, and improve a functional MVP over the course of the internship.

The project will provide an opportunity to experience the development process from initial requirements and technical planning through implementation, testing, and final demonstration.

This is a learning-focused internship intended to provide real-world software development experience and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Review project requirements and translate them into practical technical tasks.
Assist with planning the architecture, features, and development approach for an MVP.
Develop and integrate frontend, backend, database, API, or other components depending on project requirements.
Build functional features and reusable software components.
Test functionality, identify bugs, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Improve the MVP based on testing and feedback.
Document technical decisions, functionality, and development progress.
Participate in regular progress reviews and technical discussions.
Prepare and present a final demonstration of the completed MVP and recommendations for future development.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Basic programming experience in one or more languages or development frameworks.
Understanding of fundamental software development concepts.
Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and independently investigate technical problems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub or similar version-control tools is preferred.
Personal, academic, hackathon, open-source, or other software projects are welcome as evidence of practical experience.
Interest in software development, artificial intelligence, digital products, automation, or technology consulting.

Important Information

This is an unpaid internship specifically for students who want practical experience as part of their studies (vocational placements).

The internship requires approximately 5 hours per week for 8 weeks.

The internship is remote and learning-focused. Candidates are not expected to already know every technology required for the project; the ability to learn, experiment, and solve problems is an important part of the internship.
