Software Developer - Quant Systems

Marigold Capital Advisors is a wealth management firm based in Dubai (DIFC). We specialize in building systematic and data driven investing strategies. We are a growing firm, looking to add software developer to our team.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Developer, located in Dubai. The Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining software systems, tools, and workflows that support the firm’s financial and quantitative products. The role is suited to someone with a strong interest in finance and markets, especially quantitative strategies.
Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and reliable code, working with data and internal systems, supporting research and operational tooling, performing analysis where required, and helping turn quantitative ideas into practical software. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a good mathematical foundation, and the ability to communicate clearly with the team to understand requirements, share progress, and support better decision-making.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in finance, markets, trading, and quantitative investment strategies
• Good understanding of system building, software design, and internal tooling
• Comfortable working with data, models, APIs, and automation workflows
• Ability to perform analysis, interpret results, and support data-driven decision-making
• Effective communication skills to work closely with the team, explain technical ideas clearly, and understand business requirements
• Willingness to learn quickly and readily adapt to new tools, technologies, and workflows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with ownership
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
