Job Description:

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Staff Engineer that is passionate about building new products and loves to exceed the expectations of customers. As a full stack engineer you will join a highly talented scrum team in building modern web applications, structures code as a collection of services and deploy containerized platforms at the edge. Our full stack engineers work closely with the most capable end users and software engineers on the planet.

As a team member, you will:

· Containerize software with the latest Docker and Kubernetes technologies

· Participate in team agile ceremonies and sprints

· Work closely with the Intrinsic Project Manager, Chief Technology Officer, and fellow team members to assure the platform is being delivered on time and exceeding client expectations

· Assure team cohesiveness in a “leadership by example” approach, building high-quality product features that exceed client expectations

· Design, build, and push a new product to an emerging marketspace

· Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team

· Dive in and rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology

Minimum qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar engineering field

· 3+ years leading a team of engineers

· Experience being focal for technical client communication

· 8+ years of relevant experience on a diverse software development team

· Software development experience with three or more general purpose programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Python, or Go

· Experience using and implementing AI/ML tools

· 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization strategies

· 3+ years of experience in applying ORM programing techniques

· Experience working across the following areas of concern: web application development, DevSecOps product development, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, developing new software applications, and/or secure software development

· Leading code best practices expectations for the team and validating build pipelines to ensure code consistency

· Interest and ability to learn new technologies

Preferred qualifications:

· Master’s in Computer Science or, or similar Engineering Field

· 10+ years of software development experience, with emphasis on backend application development

· 6+ years web application, API-driven, service-oriented architecture experience

· 2+ years of Cloud microservices architecture development with understanding of delivering products to market (Cloud technologies should include AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2, Cognito, Google Firebase, Google Cloud Functions, Azure DocumentDB, Azure Functions, Auth0)

· Leadership with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)

· Interest and ability to learn new technologies as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
