About Aislix

Aislix is building an AI-powered retail shelf intelligence platform that turns store and shelf images into actionable retail insights.

Retail teams still rely heavily on manual shelf checks, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages and disconnected reports. Aislix is designed to automate this process by using computer vision and AI to understand what is actually happening on the shelf.

The platform is being built to support:

AI-powered shelf audits from images
Product and brand detection
Availability and out-of-stock identification
Shelf share and visibility analysis
Planogram compliance
Pricing and promotion checks
Digital retail audits with structured, trackable workflows
Actionable reports and corrective actions

Who we are looking for

I am looking for a Technical Co-Founder who can take ownership of the technology and AI side of Aislix and build the product with me from the ground up.

You should be comfortable with:

Computer Vision and image-based AI
LLMs / Generative AI
Python
Machine learning / deep learning
AI model integration and evaluation
Backend and API development
Databases and cloud infrastructure
Building and deploying production SaaS products

Experience with YOLO, OCR, object detection, image classification, OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or similar technologies would be valuable.

What you would own

Technical architecture and technology roadmap
AI/computer vision pipeline
Model selection, training, testing and improvement
Backend and API architecture
Product engineering and infrastructure
Turning the current product concept/MVP into a scalable production platform
Building the technical foundation for Aislix as we acquire our first customers

What I bring

I bring 20+ years of experience across retail operations, supply chain, sales and business operations, including leadership experience at Swiggy Instamart.

I understand the retail problem deeply and will lead business development, customer discovery, sales, operations, product direction and go-to-market.

I am looking for someone who complements these strengths with strong technical and AI capabilities.

This is a true co-founder opportunity

This is not a conventional employee position. You would join at the early stage as a founding member and have meaningful equity ownership in Aislix, with the exact structure to be discussed based on experience, commitment and contribution.

The expectation is that this person wants to build a company, not simply take on an engineering assignment.
