About the job
About Taxowl
At Taxowl, we are building modern, impactful solutions and reshaping how our audience engages with finance and technology. We value speed, innovation, and out-of-the-box thinking. If you love experimenting with visual formats, leveraging cutting-edge tools, and bringing high-energy ideas to life, you will fit right in.
About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, adaptable Creative Designer / Visualiser who can translate core concepts into striking visual content. In this role, you won't just follow templates—you will help define Taxowl's visual presence across social platforms, digital campaigns, and short-form video channels.
Whether using industry-standard tools or leveraging emerging AI design tech, your primary goal will be to craft visuals that stop the scroll and communicate complex ideas effortlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Conceptualization: Brainstorm and execute engaging design assets for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts), ad campaigns, and marketing collateral.
Short-Form Video Production: Script simple visual hooks, edit, and optimize short videos/reels designed to capture viewer attention quickly.
AI-Assisted Workflow Integration: Utilize modern AI generative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Google Flow, DALL-E) alongside traditional software to speed up ideation, asset creation, and video workflows.
Brand Consistency: Maintain Taxowl's visual identity, typography, and visual standards across all creative touchpoints.
Iterative Testing: Work with the content team to test different visual hooks, thumbnails, and layouts based on audience engagement and performance metrics.
Requirements & Skills
Tool Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma.
Video Editing: Basic to intermediate skills in short-form video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools).
AI Tool Literacy: Familiarity or deep curiosity with AI visual tools like Google Flow, Midjourney, or similar generative media software.
Visual Storytelling: A solid eye for layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and color theory.
Mindset: An original thinker who thrives on experimenting with modern content trends rather than sticking to cookie-cutter formulas.
Portfolio: A portfolio or link to recent visual work, graphics, or short video edits (required).
Application Screening Questions
When applying, please answer the following questions:
Portfolio Link: Share a link to your visual design portfolio or 2–3 examples of short-form video/graphic content you've created.
AI & Workflow: What AI tools (if any) do you currently use in your design or editing process, and how do they help you create faster or better?
Creative Example: Send a link to a recent brand ad, reel, or visual graphic you saw online that caught your eye, and briefly explain why it worked.
What We Offer
Competitive Compensation:
Hands-on Growth: Direct mentorship and freedom to experiment with new creative technologies.
Flexible Environment: Remote-first working culture with flexible collaboration hours.
