Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to help build our technical team from the ground up at a mission-driven company advancing medical education for healthcare professionals worldwide. We're seeking a senior full-stack engineer fluent in Next.js, React, Node, and Postgres to help own our core application stack and serve as a key secondary on both infrastructure and mobile.

This is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who wants real technical range across the platform, and who thrives working closely with teammates across engineering disciplines. We're looking for a strong team player who leads with openness, shares knowledge generously, and helps others grow.

Qualifications:

• Strong professional experience with Next.js, React, Node, and Postgres
• Real hands-on experience with Terraform, ECS, RDS, and Lambda
• Genuine understanding of embeddings and retrieval systems, not just calling an API
• React Native experience required
• Willingness to learn enough Swift and Kotlin to triage and ship a mobile fix using an existing runbook
• 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
• A genuine team player who communicates openly, collaborates generously, and helps build a supportive, culture-first environment for the people around them

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain our core application server and internal admin tools
• Serve as the secondary pair of hands on infrastructure when the primary owner is unavailable
• Build and improve search and AI features across the platform
• Act as the named secondary for mobile releases, crash fixes, and small changes across both mobile apps
• Partner closely with the mobile team to build real, demonstrated cross-platform coverage
• Show up as a collaborative, culture-first team member as we build our technical organization from the ground up
