Job Profile:
Digit88 is seeking a Solution Architect to act as the design authority for enterprise customer implementations. You will translate business objectives into scalable solution designs and provide technical governance from discovery through go-live.
In this role you will shape the technical approach, resolve cross-system decisions and ensure that customer requirements can be delivered without compromising platform integrity. The role is customer-facing, pragmatic and accountable for technical readiness rather than slideware alone.

Responsibilities:
Lead technical discovery and convert business outcomes into architecture, integration and non-functional requirements.
Define solution boundaries, data flows, security patterns, environments and integration approaches.
Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, interface contracts and implementation guardrails.
Review technical designs and critical changes; identify risks before they reach testing or production.
Formulate multi-option solution blueprints that clearly detail trade-offs, implementation complexity and strategic alignment.
Guide Customer Engineers and Product Engineers through difficult tradeoffs and escalations.
Maintain technical governance across concurrent implementations and reusable product patterns.
Own architecture and technical approval, delegating implementation execution to Customer Engineers while remaining available for reviews and escalations.
Partner with Product Engineering on reusable capabilities, without committing roadmap scope outside product approval.

Solutions are technically feasible, scalable, secure and supportable before implementation begins.
Material design decisions are documented and understood by customer and internal teams.
Integration and non-functional risks surfaced early, with credible mitigation plans.
Measured by solution quality, technical readiness, design rework, production stability and stakeholder confidence.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years in enterprise software delivery, including 3+ years in solution or integration architecture.
Deep experience with APIs, event-driven integration, identity, cloud architecture, data design and production operations.
Strong command of security patterns, environment strategy and non-functional requirements across enterprise deployments.
Ability to lead customer workshops and explain complex decisions to executives and engineers.
Track record designing systems that moved successfully from discovery into production.
Should have experience with Salesforce, Genesys Cloud or similar CRM/contact-center platforms.

Good to have:
AI system design covering retrieval, model evaluation, guardrails, observability and human escalation.
Experience in security-sensitive or regulated environments.
