Software Engineer Intern

Quizcademy is seeking a Software Engineering Intern. In this role, you will be expected to directly support our core engineering teams and deliver results on assigned technical tasks. We require individuals who can adapt quickly to our workflows and execute deliverables efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug code exactly as assigned by engineering management and senior staff.
• Assist in the maintenance, optimization, and scaling of existing software systems.
• Adhere strictly to company coding standards, version control protocols, and project deadlines.
• Identify and resolve software defects rapidly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Document software processes thoroughly and report progress daily to your assigned supervisor.

Requirments

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a strictly related quantitative field.
• Strong, demonstrable grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven ability to take direction, learn independently, and execute tasks under pressure without constant supervision.
• High level of attention to detail and strict accountability for the quality of your own work output.
• Excellent academic standing and a strong record of personal reliability.

Interviews
2 rounds

Take home test (If Invited): Complete at your own pace before the deadline.
Round 1 (If Invited): Strictly Behavioral with a few basic technical questions.
Round 2 (If Invited): Technical Interview; Use of AI will be allowed for half of the interview.

Compensation
Standard Hourly Rate: $30 / hour for 20 hours a week (Negotiable)
