Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, and RESTful APIs to design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate should have experience building production-grade React applications, architecting reusable components, implementing state management solutions, optimizing frontend performance, and working closely with product, UX/UI, and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Architect scalable frontend solutions with strong patterns for component design, state management, and code organization.
• Develop reusable and maintainable React components and frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver business requirements.
• Lead code reviews and promote coding standards and frontend engineering best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, responsiveness, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into frontend applications.
• Own frontend build tooling, CI/CD integration, and deployment processes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt.
• Stay current with modern frontend technologies and evaluate their adoption for the team.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on React.js experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React concepts including Hooks, Context API, lifecycle, memoization, code splitting, and lazy loading.
• Strong experience with Redux or other state management solutions such as Zustand, Recoil, or React Query.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and modern styling approaches such as Tailwind, SCSS, CSS-in-JS, or styled-components.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Solid understanding of frontend build tools, package managers, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Git/GitLab and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale enterprise web applications.
• Experience with modern frontend architecture and reusable design systems.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and API integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment environments.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong understanding of frontend security and accessibility best practices.
