About Kendra Scott

We are a fashion-lifestyle brand of big dreams, colorful confidence, and inspired design. Founded on Family, Fashion and Philanthropy, we believe that our employees and customers are the heart and soul of our brand, and that giving back is the truest form of success. Position Overview

This role serves as a strategic finance partner to the support teams and operational functions with primary support for Marketing and Supply Chain. The Senior Financial Analyst will lead planning, forecasting, performance reporting and decision support across operating expense and capital investments. The role will translate business activity into clear financial drivers, surface risks and opportunities, and help leaders make disciplined resource allocation decisions. This position will partner closely with Accounting and cross-functional stakeholders during month-end close and throughout planning cycles. The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team and reports directly to the Sr. Director of FP&A. The position is an exempt, salaried position.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain and other Shared Services leaders to lead the annual budget, forecast and long-range planning processes for operating expense and capital investment.
  • Build driver-based financial models that connect spend to business activity, including marketing channel and campaign plans as well as supply-chain volume, freight, warehousing, labor, vendor and productivity drivers.
  • Partner with Accounting and business leaders during month-end close to validate results, support accruals and reclasses, and explain material variances and business drivers.
  • Deliver timely forecast updates and performance reporting versus budget, forecast and prior year, with clear identification of risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
  • Evaluate marketing investment efficiency and incremental returns using agreed-upon performance measures; provide scenario analysis on timing, mix and funding allocation.
  • Analyze supply-chain cost, service and productivity trends and identify opportunities across freight, distribution and fulfillment, labor, packaging and third-party services.
  • Develop business cases for operating and capital investments, including ROI, breakeven, payback and sensitivity analysis, and support post-investment performance measurement.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, standardized reporting and automated models that improve data accuracy, transparency and speed to insight.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business review materials and translate complex data into concise, decision-oriented narratives for senior leaders.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and continuously improve planning, reporting and decision-support processes.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analysis or strategic consulting.
  • Experience supporting G&A or Shared Services functions in a fast-paced consumer, retail or omnichannel business is preferred.
  • Exposure to marketing finance and/or supply-chain or operations finance is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and navigate robust financial models and large data sets.
  • Experience with planning and budgeting systems, business intelligence tools and ERP platforms; Adaptive Insights experience is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, ROI, breakeven and payback analysis.
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, operating expense, capital expense, and the month-end close process.
  • Ability to synthesize disparate data into practical recommendations and communicate clearly with senior leaders in written, verbal and visual formats.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and build trust with business leaders.
  • Proven ability to deliver recurring and ad hoc analysis accurately while prioritizing competing demands as business needs change.
  • Independent, curious and adaptable, with a continuous-improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • A shared appreciation for our three core values of Family, Fashion and Philanthropy.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
